About the opportunity:
The Associate Trade Marketing Manager provides support to the Trade Marketing Manager, the broader Trade Marketing team and the Divisional leadership in maximizing profitable opportunities on an assigned portfolio of businesses, consistent with corporate and Divisional strategies. The position is responsible for support, financial forecasting and reporting, developing and collaborating to execute pricing strategies, maximizing trade spend efficiency, as well as the management of product, promotion, and customer mix. The position represents the interest of the Division by acting as liaison between Customer Strategy and Development (CS&D), Sales, Marketing, Management Control, Supply Chain and Demand Planning departments.
The attributes we are looking for:
· The Associate Trade Marketing Manager works collaboratively with customer sales teams & CS&D to understand elapsed and projected performance to ensure budget KPIs (primarily volume, net sales, margin contribution) are achieved.
· Completion of financial forecasting & reporting of volume and net sales to division management control and Trade Marketing Manager. This includes commentary on commercial performance versus budget/prior year/financial forecasts and net sales (pricing & accrual) validation at month end.
· Strong collaboration with S&OP stakeholders (supply chain, demand planning, operations, sales operations, customer sales etc.) ensuring communication & resolution of forecasting inaccuracies impacting production planning and supply planning guidelines are adhered to.
· Performing strategic analysis of data from TPM, BW, Nielsen & Numerator to provide insights and recommendations on risks & opportunities to deliver division KPIs (primarily volume, net sales, margin contribution, market share). Responsible for ad-hoc reporting as requested by Trade Marketing Manager.
· Responsible for maintenance of Trade Marketing reporting assets (e.g. Planogram Window Listing Trackers, Monthly Tracking KPI Dashboards, Projected Shortage Risks, Fill Rate Reports, LE Tracking etc.).

· Responsible for customer tactical trade requests & approvals (i.e. TPM approvals, incremental promotional funding, event fees, list price changes etc.).
· Assist Trade Marketing Manager with budget planning responsibilities such as volume building block & net sales consensus reviews with sales.
· Work cross-functionally with account sales, supply chain & customer service to reduce finished goods write-offs through fire-sale & donation process.
· The Associate Trade Marketing Manager works collaboratively with customer sales teams & CS&D to understand elapsed and projected performance to ensure budget KPIs (primarily volume, net sales, margin contribution) are achieved.
· Completion of financial forecasting & reporting of volume and net sales to division management control and Trade Marketing Manager. This includes commentary on commercial performance versus budget/prior year/financial forecasts and net sales (pricing & accrual) validation at month end.
What you will bring:
· University degree or college diploma
· Minimum three 3 years’ experience in sales and/or data analysis role.
· Strong analytical, planning and communication skills (formal and informal presentation)
· Strong leadership skills and strategic thinking abilities
· Project management skills
· Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
· Strong technical skill set in the areas of budget planning, investment analysis, and financial reviews
· Ability to work and adapt to a fast paced, multi project environment
· Proficient with business applications such as SAP/BW, TPM, Microsoft 365 and PowerBI
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Bilingual (English and French) an asset

Compensation:
As part of our commitment to fairness, trust, and transparency and our ambition to be an Employer of Choice, the base salary range for this position is $88 400– $110 500+.
Please note: Along with a comprehensive Total Rewards package, your actual base salary will be fair, competitive, and be based on your skills, experience, and qualifications.
Pay: $88,400.00-$110,500.00 per year
