Accounting Clerks (AP / AR / General Accounting)

Type: Contract / Temporary | In-Office Opportunities

About Our Client

With a steady pipeline of upcoming projects and coverage needs, our clients are seeking experienced accounting professionals to step into a variety of temporary roles in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting. These opportunities offer a dynamic and fast-paced environment where your contributions will have an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Receivable

Process high-volume invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment cycles.
Manage collections, reconcile accounts, and follow up on outstanding balances.

General Accounting Support

Perform account reconciliations, journal entries, and assist with month-end processes.
Maintain accurate financial records and support day-to-day accounting operations.

Data Entry & Administration

Enter financial data with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ensure proper documentation, filing, and organization of accounting records.

Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and clients to resolve discrepancies.
Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal interactions.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or general accounting.
Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is considered an asset.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.

Key Competencies:

Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and environments.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Effective time management with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
