Full job description

A position is available for a Registered Psychologist in our Toronto office for a candidate with at least five years of post-graduate clinical experience specializing in autistic and other neurodivergent populations. This position starts at 10 hours per week with the ability to work up to 20 hours a week; at least half of those hours must be delivered in office.

The scope of work encompasses diagnostic/psychological assessment and therapeutic intervention for youth and adults. The majority of clients will be adults presenting with autism (Level 1) and co-occurring mental health conditions without intellectual disability. Practitioners operate within a collaborative, supportive group practice that provides office space, technical and communication infrastructure, advertising, and a steady stream of targeted referrals.

Position Requirements:

Education & Licensure: A PhD in Clinical or School Psychology is essential. Must be registered for autonomous practice in good standing with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO) is mandatory.
Clinical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of, and documented experience in, identity-affirming assessment and support for neurodivergent youth and adults. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in diagnostic care and the systemic barriers faced by neurodivergent individuals and their families.
Assessment Proficiency: Demonstrated competence in selecting, administering, and interpreting gold-standard diagnostic and neurodevelopmental assessment tools tailored to nuanced and masked presentations alongside psychoeducational batteries.
Systemic Knowledge: A strong working knowledge of local neurodevelopmental services, community networks, and funding supports within the Greater Toronto Area.
Professional Execution: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage a caseload with a high degree of clinical and administrative autonomy.
