As a District Manager (Downstream Chemicals), you are responsible for:
Ensure all activities are carried out according to our non-negotiables and our cultural pillars
Collaborate with sales/comms teams as well as direct interaction with customers for assigned area to understand the activity forecast (volume and complexity)
Ensure flawless execution and on-time delivery by assigning appropriate resources in line with volume and complexity of forecasted activity and by developing Quality plans in line with our job cycle process
Ensure that the team fully understand the contracts/quote for their assigned job portfolio to ensure we harvest our contracts and collect what we are owed
Oversee the budget for Downstream P/L for the area of responsibility
Develop team in line with competency and training programs for their respective positions as well as future career plans
This position will be focused on customer engagement, managing service delivery, sales and financial performance for assigned customers
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
At least 5 years of experience with Chemicals.
Willing and able to travel to customer sites (50%) In designated area
Must be able to present information to a variety of audiences in a clear and concise manner
Proven success in technical sales and customer relations
Proficient in MS Office Suite, (PowerPoint, WORD, Excel)
Ability to lead and influence others that are not direct reports
Willing and able to perform mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting as required
