Join our team at Cloud Nine a family-run, locally owned cannabis store where we treat our team like family! We’re all about creating a fun, supportive workplace where everyone can grow their knowledge, enjoy connecting with our amazing customers, and feel proud of what they do every day. We are looking for a floor manager to join our amazing, fun team located at 3605 Shelbourne St Unit 28. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and reliable. The ideal candidate can work as a team and on their own effectively. Opportunities to advance management roles as we grow. Ongoing education and certification support for team members who want to deepen their cannabis expertise.

Starting wage of $24.00/hr + paid breaks is equivalent to $26.47/hr at jobs with unpaid breaks.

Responsibilities

Support and coordinate store participation in events, pop-ups, and location-based visits (LP visits)
Assist in translating corporate objectives into actionable store, team, and individual goals
Conduct and support store audits to ensure compliance with operational standards
Monitor, maintain, and manage inventory and stock levels
Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation standards are consistently met
Oversee store safety protocols and ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
Act as the primary store representative for external representatives, vendors, and officials
Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to store employees
Support employee onboarding, training, coaching, and disciplinary processes when required
Supervise staff performance to ensure completion of tasks, strong customer service, upselling, teamwork, and adherence to store policies and procedures
Collaborate closely with the Store Manager and Floor Manager to support daily operations and team execution
Resolve operational issues through effective problem-solving and decision-making
Handle customer complaints, inquiries, and special requests in a professional and timely manner
Deliver excellent customer service and drive sales performance
Process returns, exchanges, and store credit transactions
Manage cash handling procedures, including cash-outs and change exchanges
opening and closing the store

Qualifications

Full-time availability
1 year as a supervisor, key holder, or manager
2 years of full-time customer service experience
Must be 19+ years of age
Responsible and proven ability to maintain scheduling commitments
Good communication skills with customers
Friendly and outgoing personality
Excellent verbal skills
Able to problem solve as issues arise
Valid selling it right certificate
Can lift boxes weighing around 10lbs
Position requires the ability to stand for prolonged period throughout an 8hr shift
