POSITION: Store Manager

OBJECTIVE:
Responsible for leading a small team of sales and warehouse personnel, in the taking and processing of orders while maintaining the highest level of customer service possible. You’ll spend the day on your feet, moving between our customer service counter, the office, and the shop floor. You’ll consult with trade professionals and do-it-yourselfers, helping them where they need it. It will take strong multi-tasking skills and attention to detail.
What matters most is that you’ll bring your leadership and people skills to all aspects of accomplishing the stores goals while maintaining a world class level of customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Organize, inspire and guide the store team during day to day operations
Ensure the highest level of customer service is maintained
Manage day to day operational requirements
Handle stock procurement and inventory control
Ensure proper maintenance of equipment (saws, forklift etc.) ensuring safety first for everyone
Provide safety leadership in all aspect of work
Perform other duties as requested

QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong leadership skills
Excellent customer relationship skills
Ability to analyze, categorize and prioritize work
Ability to accurately use measuring instruments – i.e.: tape measure and dial calipers
Physically able to frequently lift/move metal product weighing 50 -100 lbs
