Role and Facility Information

WELL Health – Richmond Central Medical Clinic puts patients and their family’s health first. We are committed to empowering patients with care that results in improved health outcomes. Our clinic is situated in a busy area being across the street from Richmond Centre and next to the Canada Line. Easily accessible via rapid transit, car, or simply walk from one of the many new residences nearby. Let out the foodie in you and have your taste buds venture out to experience all the great eats Richmond has to offer right at your doorstep.

Fun Fact: Did you know Richmond is home of Canada’s largest commercial fishing harbour and one of the largest producers of cranberries in Canada? On your way to the fisherman’s wharf in Steveston Village, you’ll surely pass by many local farms.

Our Richmond Central location is a multi-disciplinary and multi-physician clinic with a very collegiate atmosphere and a physician focused MOA support team. The clinic also provides virtual and telehealth options which can be accessed at home.

The ideal physician would be in a position to provide full-scope family practice either full-time or part-time. This position will also have as mall walk-in component. The WELL Health team will work closely with you to ensure there is a smooth transition of the practice. You can expect flexible hours and would be masters of your own schedule. You will have the opportunity to work the way you want!

IMGs eligible for provisional license to practice family medicine in BC are welcome to apply!

Qualifications and Experience:

Hold or eligible for Certification in the College of Family Physicians (CCFP)
Hold or eligible for full license to practice medicine in BC
Good standing with BC's College of Physicians and Surgeons
Provisional license eligible applicants are welcome to apply
Hospital privileges will be an asset

Clinic Hours: Mon & Thurs 8:00 – 20:00; Tues & Friday 8:00 – 17:00; Wed 8:00 – 18:00; & Sat & Sun 9:00 – 14:00

After Hours Call Coverage: Handle our own calls
Payment Model Options: Positions are available under New to Practice (NTP) PCN (salary) Contracts; Longitudinal Family Physician (LFP) Contracts;and Fee-for-Service (FFS) Contracts.
