Express Employment Professionals is hiring Field Service Technicians on behalf of our client, a global leader in temporary power and energy solutions.
We are actively hiring multiple technicians to support growing project demands. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically or electrically inclined professional to join a highly skilled team working on critical power equipment across a variety of industrial and commercial sites.
You’ll work both independently and alongside other technicians to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair diesel and gas generators supporting major industrial and power generation projects, with rotational schedules, long-term project assignments, and strong earning potential.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and working in different environments, with opportunities for training, career growth, and exposure to advanced equipment and technologies.
What you’ll be doing:
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel and gas generators and related equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues both on-site and in the field
- Complete regular service checks to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
- Read and follow technical manuals and digital documentation to support repairs and maintenance
- Accurately complete service reports and documentation using internal systems
- Work with hand and power tools in outdoor and industrial environments
- Support equipment setup, commissioning, and ongoing operational performance
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and compliance, including pre-employment drug and alcohol testing requirements
What we’re looking for:
- Red Seal or Journeyperson certification in a mechanical or electrical trade, or equivalent hands-on experience (typically 5+ years)
- Strong experience with generator maintenance and repair is highly preferred
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Basic computer skills to complete reports and navigate digital manuals
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must have a valid Canadian passport or other valid passport permitting travel to the United States
- Willingness to work project-based rotational schedules (most commonly 14/7) and support projects in various locations as required.

- Overtime paid after 8 hours per day (typical 8–12 hour shifts)
