Join a well-established Western Canada Electrical & Instrumentation contractor as a Journeyman Electrician. With operations spanning from British Columbia to Ontario, you’ll work on diverse industrial projects including grain terminals, ports, mining operations, and manufacturing facilities.
This is a travel-based role where you’ll be involved in electrical construction, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of critical control systems supporting essential industrial operations.

Install, terminate, and test electrical systems and equipment

Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications

Plan daily work activities, prepare material lists, and assist with scheduling
-
Complete QA/QC documentation, redlines, and daily reports
-
Collaborate with Foremen, Project Managers, and other trades
-
Train and mentor apprentices
-
Follow and promote all company and site safety standards
-
Install, calibrate, and commission instrumentation and control systems
-
Perform loop checks, calibration, and system testing
-
Troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, transmitters, control valves, and automation systems
-
Interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, and control schematics
-
Support commissioning and startup of industrial/process systems

Maintain accurate documentation for all I&C work

Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician certification
-
5+ years of electrical experience (industrial and commercial preferred)

Strong experience in Instrumentation & Controls within industrial environments

Proven ability in calibration, commissioning, and troubleshooting

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and control diagrams

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Valid driver’s license
