Roles and Responsibilities:
The Delivery Driver / Boom Truck Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient transportation and delivery of equipment and materials to job sites, supporting All Source Rentals’ projects from start to finish. This role works closely with the yard, operations team, and customers to ensure timely service, accuracy, and a high standard of professionalism.
The position involves operating a boom truck (knuckle boom) to load, transport, and place materials as required, while ensuring all deliveries meet safety, quality, and customer expectations. The driver is also responsible for completing inspections, maintaining equipment, and ensuring proper documentation for all deliveries and pickups.
The Delivery Driver / Boom Truck Operator plays a key role in supporting yard operations by assisting with loading, staging, and general organization, while maintaining compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Safely operate a flatbed truck or boom truck (knuckle boom) for deliveries, pickups, and material placement
- Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites in a timely and professional manner
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck and equipment
- Load and unload materials safely, ensuring proper securement and handling
- Communicate with yard staff and operations to coordinate deliveries and schedules
- Provide excellent customer service on job sites and represent the company professionally
- Complete all required delivery documentation, logs, and reports accurately
- Use company software (e.g., Sirius) for job tracking, scheduling, and record keeping
- Assist in the yard with staging, organizing, and preparing equipment for dispatch
- Inspect equipment at pickup and delivery to confirm condition and accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of truck and assigned equipment
- Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and transportation requirements
- Identify and report equipment issues, damages, or safety concerns
- Support overall operational efficiency through flexibility and teamwork
- Help ensure company standards, safety policies, and quality expectations are maintained; proactively identify and escalate risks, budget concerns to the owner.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal team members in alignment with All Source Rentals core values and commitment to professionalism.
Education, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-5 years’ experience as a Delivery Driver / Boom Truck Operator
- Class 1 License or Class 3 License with a Trailer Endorsement (Minimum)
- Excavation experience (Considered an asset)
- Excavation certification
- Forklift certification
- Telehandler operator certification
- Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and company loyalty.

Job Details (The Important Stuff):
- Permanent, Full Time.
- Salary will be based on experience
- Regular Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Additional hours may be required to meet operational needs
- Located in Victoria, British Columbia.
- Start date 2-4 weeks
Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
