Full job description

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled Millwright to support maintenance and production operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is critical in ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine preventative maintenance on production equipment
Troubleshoot and provide immediate corrective support for mechanical issues
Install, overhaul, and commission new machinery and equipment
Rebuild, fabricate, and replace machine components as required
Conduct facility maintenance to ensure operational continuity
Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime
Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment

Qualifications

Journeyman Millwright certification or equivalent experience
Red Seal certification is a strong advantage
Solid experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Background in industrial or manufacturing environments (wood/lumber experience is a plus)
Strong troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
