Full job description

NOVA Injury Law Bedford is seeking a receptionist for our Bedford, NS office.

Everyone has some type of TV show or movie as their reference point for what personal injury law is all about. Believe it or not we ask our clients what their reference point is because it helps us explain what we're actually about.

And, THAT’S where you come in.

We are looking for a motivated, passionate, obsessed individual to be that first point of contact with our firm. We need someone to take responsibility for:

Owning the front operations of the office
Raising the bar for exceptional client experience (through rapid service and helping the legal team deliver results)
Crushing projects to help us increase our exposure to clients

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and vendors to the business
Answer and screen phone calls, emails, and text messages in a professional and courteous manner; relay messages to appropriate person or department; direct calls to appropriate person(s)
Assist in opening new client files
Provide general support to the office as needed including, but not limited to, entering new invoices, processing payments, filing invoices and other general administrative tasks
Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in customer service or other related field preferred
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of management and employees
