Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role offers an opportunity to help clients improve their health through therapeutic touch in a welcoming environment. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude to ensure a positive experience for every client. We will provide all laundry and housekeeping services, massage therapy supplies and booking and confirmation of all appointments.

Responsibilities

Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
Consult with clients to understand their specific concerns and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend ongoing wellness practices.
Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress.
Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions.
Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education requirements.

Requirements

Valid state licensure or certification as a Registered Massage Therapist.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to massage therapy and anatomy.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients.
Excellent communication skills to explain treatment options and address client concerns clearly.
Ability to build rapport with clients and foster a relaxing environment.
Prior experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and professionalism at all times.

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
