Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, dishes, and utensils, ensuring a smooth flow of kitchen operations. This role is essential in supporting our culinary team and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and ingredients
Support the kitchen staff by ensuring all dishware is available for food service and presentation
Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed
Restock supplies such as clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools to maintain efficient workflow
Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required
Familiarity with cleaning procedures, food handling, and basic kitchen operations is advantageous
Experience with food preparation or cooking can be beneficial but is not mandatory
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Strong understanding of hospitality standards related to cleanliness and sanitation
