About Working at Heeman’s:
No two days are the same at Heeman’s, and that’s what keeps this role engaging. As a year-round seasonal farm business, you’ll move between peak-season pace and quieter periods, adapting your work to what the business needs most. This is a fully hands-on role across greenhouses, retail spaces, back-of-house, and outdoor property in all weather conditions. You’ll spend your time on the floor and throughout the site, actively completing repairs, responding to maintenance needs, and keeping Heeman’s running safely and efficiently as our “Happy Place.”
You’ll be the main point of contact for maintenance requests across the property, including urgent issues and forklift requests, and will regularly handle physical work, including lifting and moving materials (up to 50 lbs). Heeman’s is a family-owned, agriculture-based business, and employees are classified as agricultural workers under the ESA. This role requires someone who is proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment in all conditions.
