Full job description

Job Summary

Rodren Drilling, based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is looking for a skilled and dedicated Surface Diamond Driller to join our exploration drilling team across . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in diamond drilling operations, a strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and efficiency in the field. As a Driller, you’ll play a key role in advancing our exploration projects while working alongside a highly skilled crew.

Responsibilities

Operate diamond drill rigs and related equipment safely and efficiently in exploration environments.
Monitor drilling progress, core recovery, and ground conditions, making adjustments as required to meet project targets.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on drilling equipment to ensure peak performance.
Collaborate with helpers, drill crews, and supervisors to execute drilling programs effectively.
Maintain accurate drill logs, reports, and records of daily activities.
Follow Rodren’s safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

Proven experience in exploration diamond drilling operations.
Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting ability with drilling equipment.
Ability to lead and mentor a crew in remote site conditions.
Commitment to safe work practices and familiarity with applicable safety standards.
Valid driver’s license.
Previous experience working in exploration or mining projects is preferred.

We usually operate on a 4weeks on and 2 weeks off schedule, 12hour daily shifts
