Full job description

Position Overview

Capital Auto Group is recognized for its commitment to integrity, quality, exceptional service, and positive community impact. Bistro FIVE15, located within Capital Hyundai, reflects these standards through its fresh breakfast and lunch offerings, specialty baked goods, and beverages.

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced food service environment while developing valuable workplace and life skills.

This position will run until September 4, 2026, offering part-time hours and the opportunity to learn a wide range of responsibilities in both customer service and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation, including basic cooking and ingredient prep
Perform dishwashing and maintain cleanliness of kitchen and work areas
Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders and processing payments
Deliver orders to customers and support front-of-house operations
Assist with light cash handling, including processing transactions
Support general daily operations, including stocking and organization
Potentially assist with offsite deliveries or grocery pickups (if applicable)
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, prep areas, service counter, and dining space
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Skills & Experience

Friendly, personable, and customer-focused attitude
Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting
Reliable with good attendance and punctuality
Previous experience in food service or cash handling is an asset, but not required
Valid driver’s license considered an asset

What We Offer

Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 am–1:00 pm. Full-day coverage for any employees on time off is Monday to Friday, 6:45 am–2:45 pm.
On-the-job training, including food safety, sanitation, and basic cooking techniques
Exposure to flavor pairings and opportunity to develop more advanced cooking skills
