About Us:

We are a busy small animal veterinary clinic seeking a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant to join our team full-time. We are looking for someone who enjoys both client interaction and hands-on animal care, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and works well within a team.

Responsibilities

Greeting clients and patients warmly and professionally.
Answering phones, booking appointments, and managing emails.
Assisting veterinarians and technicians with patient care and restraint.
Cleaning and maintaining exam rooms and hospital areas.
Processing payments and maintaining accurate records.
Assisting with treatments and patient care, as needed.
Providing excellent customer service and client communication.

Requirements: Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience working in:

a veterinary clinic,
animal shelter,
kennel/daycare,
or another professional animal-care environment

Must have:

Strong communication and organization skills.
comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced setting.
Team-orientated with a positive attitude.
Must be reliable and punctual.

Availability Requirements:

Must be available to work alternating evening shifts ending at 6pm and 8pm.
Must be available to work 1-2 Saturdays/month.
