Key Responsibilities
Own production reliability, availability, performance, resilience, scalability, and operational readiness across AWS cloud, hybrid, and hosted systems.
Lead SRE, DevOps, CloudOps, DBA, infrastructure operations, production support, and third-party provider relationships under a clear operating model.
Establish production standards for SLAs, SLOs, capacity planning, high availability, disaster recovery, backups, monitoring, incident response, and change management.
Drive mature incident, problem, and change management practices, including escalation models, RCA, post-incident remediation, runbooks, playbooks, and on-call readiness.
Define and improve observability across metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerting, transaction visibility, and performance monitoring.

Build scalable IT service management practices using tools such as Jira Service Management or similar platforms.
Create a practical roadmap for production engineering maturity, including SLO-driven operations, error budgets, automation, service ownership, safe deployments, and blameless postmortems.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in production operations, SRE, DevOps, CloudOps, platform engineering, infrastructure operations, fintech product operations, or related technical operations roles.
5+ years of leadership experience managing technical operations teams.
Proven experience operating high-availability, mission-critical production systems.
Strong AWS operations experience across production infrastructure, reliability, monitoring, security, and operational governance.
Experience with incident management, ITIL-aligned practices, RCA, change management, observability, alerting, and performance engineering.
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar platforms.
Experience managing third-party technology vendors, managed service providers, cloud operations partners, security providers, or service desk partners.
Strong communication skills across engineering, product, security, compliance, business stakeholders, executives, vendors, and customers.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in payments, fintech, SaaS, financial services, or regulated technology environments.
Experience in startup, scale-up, or product-led technology companies.
Experience with PCI-DSS, SOC2, audit readiness, or regulated production environments.
Experience with hybrid cloud, AWS, colocation, legacy systems, SQL Server, cloud-managed databases, or DBA leadership.
Experience with FinOps, cloud cost optimization, acquisitions, integrations, migrations, or modernization programs.
Leadership Profile
Strong people manager with an ownership mindset for uptime, reliability, customer impact, and operational excellence.
Able to operate strategically and tactically, from designing the production operating model to improving incident response and resolving operational gaps.
Hands-on enough to understand technical details while senior enough to build scalable teams, governance models, processes, and vendor operating rhythms.
Product-oriented and business-aware, with the ability to balance reliability, speed, cost, security, compliance, and customer experience.
Success Metrics
Improved uptime, availability, SLA adherence, scalability, and production readiness.
