Full job description

CGI is seeking an Intermediate Java/DevOps Programmer Analyst driven by automation, complex systems, and robust delivery pipelines. If you’re eager to contribute to critical Equity Finance trading platforms, build end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate closely with business experts in a dynamic environment, this opportunity is for you.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Missions / Responsibilities

Responsible for CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance, containerized infrastructure deployment using Docker and Kubernetes, and automation through GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
Analyze, estimate, and refine user stories within Equity Finance Trading Systems environments.
Evaluate and recommend technical and non-technical solutions (tactical vs. strategic), including timeline assessments.
Collaborate with business analysts and end users to gather requirements and obtain approvals.
Develop code, deployment plans, and technical upgrades in line with development standards.
Coordinate with users to define test plans and acceptance criteria.
Participate in testing activities, document results, and review outcomes with end users.
Contribute to large-scale software implementations, including quarterly releases and new functionality deployments.
Develop and implement internal user reports and data extracts upon request.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Profile / Requirements
Mandatory

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role.
Languages: Bilingual English and French.
Strong ability to work with complex information systems.
Strong organizational, analytical, and methodical approach.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong team-oriented mindset.

Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is required, as the person in this position will collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000–$115,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
