We are seeking a Development Manager to lead multifamily, commercial, and land development projects through critical stages of planning and execution. This role offers the opportunity to influence project direction, guide key decisions, and work directly with clients, consultants, municipalities, and project teams to bring developments to life.

The Opportunity
As a Development Manager, you will lead projects from concept through approvals, design development, procurement, construction commencement, and ongoing project execution. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients while coordinating consultants, contractors, municipalities, and stakeholders to advance projects toward successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead multifamily, commercial, mixed-use, and land development projects through all phases of development and construction
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, risk registers, and reporting
- Coordinate architects, engineers, planners, and specialty consultants
- Lead development approvals, permitting, and regulatory processes
- Manage consultant procurement, contract administration, and project documentation
- Monitor project performance and proactively address risks, issues, and opportunities
- Facilitate meetings, prepare project updates, and maintain stakeholder alignment
- Support construction execution through coordination, reporting, and issue resolution
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project management and development processes

Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Planning, Engineering Technology, Business, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in development, project management, owner's representation, construction management, consulting, or a related field
- Experience managing multifamily, commercial, mixed-use, land development, or institutional projects
- Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management
- Knowledge of Alberta municipal approval and permitting processes
- Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
- Experience with Procore, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar project management software is considered an asset
