Full job description

Synaxiom is on the lookout for a talented WordPress & Moodle Developer who thrives on solving problems, building clean solutions, and keeping complex platforms running smoothly. This isn’t just about installing plugins — it’s about owning the full cycle: setting up sites, customizing plugins, managing multilingual environments with WPML, and ensuring Moodle and WordPress work seamlessly together.

If you’re someone who can dive into code when needed, but also has the eye to keep a multilingual learning platform polished and running, we want to talk to you.

What you’ll do

Configure, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites.
Develop and customize WordPress plugins and themes.
Manage multilingual sites with WPML or similar tools.
Configure and customize Moodle LMS, including plugins, themes, and upgrades.
Integrate Moodle and WordPress (SSO, course sync, payments).
Keep servers healthy (SSL, caching, cron jobs, backups).
Troubleshoot issues and make sure everything “just works.”

What you bring

Strong PHP & MySQL background.
Proven WordPress plugin/theme development experience.
Hands-on Moodle LMS experience.
Experience managing multilingual websites (WPML).
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery.
Familiarity with LAMP/LEMP environments.
Comfortable using Git and working across multiple projects.

Nice-to-have extras

WooCommerce or other WordPress eCommerce experience.
Familiarity with SCORM/xAPI standards in Moodle.
Knowledge of cloud hosting (AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean).
Exposure to DevOps practices.
