Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Core Technical Skills
Ø HTML5 & CSS3: Semantic markup, Flexbox, Grid, and preprocessors like Sass.
Ø JavaScript & TypeScript: Deep understanding of DOM manipulation, asynchronous programming, and ES6+ features.
Ø Frameworks/Libraries: React, Angular, or Vue.js for building single-page applications (SPAs).
Ø Version Control (Git): Proficiency with command-line Git, branching, and repositories like GitHub/GitLab.
Ø Responsive Web D esign: Ensuring functionality across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.
Ø Build Tools/Package Managers: NPM or Yarn, and module bundlers like Webpack or Vite

Functional and Design Skills

Ø API Interaction: Connecting front-end interfaces to backend services (REST APIs, GraphQL).
Ø Web Performance Optimization: Techniques to improve page load speed and rendering performance.
Ø UI/UX Principles: Understanding design systems and creating user-centric interfaces.
Ø Accessibility (a11y): Implementing web standards (WCAG) to ensure usability for all users.
Ø Testing & Debugging: Using browser dev tools and frameworks like Jest or React Testing Library.

Core Roles and Responsibilities

User Interface Implementation: Coding the visual elements, layout, and structure of web applications using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, often utilizing frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
Cross-Browser/Device Compatibility: Ensuring applications function perfectly on various browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) and devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
UI/UX Collaboration: Working closely with designers to interpret wireframes and mockups into interactive, responsive web experiences.
Performance Optimization: Enhancing application speed and performance, reducing load times, and implementing best practices for SEO and usability.
API Integration: Interacting with back-end teams to connect front-end components with server-side logic and databases.
Testing and Debugging: Running tests to identify bugs and ensure the code performs correctly.
Version Control & Tooling: Using Git for code management and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite) for optimizing workflows.

Required Technical Skills

Languages: Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Frameworks/Libraries: Proficiency in React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
CSS Preprocessors/Frameworks: Sass/SCSS, Tailwind CSS, or Bootstrap.
Tools: Git, Chrome DevTools, and CI/CD tools

Typical Workflow
1. Requirement Gathering: Understanding client or product manager needs.
2. Prototyping: Developing early-stage models for user testing.
3. Development: Coding interactive features and user interfaces.
4. Integration & Testing: Connecting to APIs and debugging.
5. Deployment: Deploying the code through CI/CD pipelines.
