Forward Physiotherapy & Wellness is a busy multidisciplinary clinic located in the Klarvatten neighbourhood of North Edmonton. We provide Physiotherapy, Chiropractic Care, Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, and Naturopathic Medicine—all under one roof.
Previous experience using Jane App in a healthcare setting is required. We are looking for someone who can confidently step into a busy reception role with minimal training.
We are looking for a dependable Part-Time Medical Receptionist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who values consistency, takes pride in providing excellent patient care, and is looking for a long-term position with a supportive team.

Permanent Part-Time Schedule
Sunday: 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Monday: 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Guaranteed: 9 hours per week
This position is ideal for someone looking to supplement another part-time position, return to the workforce, or transition into semi-retirement.
Additional shifts may be available to cover vacations, sick days, and increased clinic demand, but are not guaranteed.
Your Responsibilities:
As one of the first people our patients interact with, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming and professional experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Greet patients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Answer phones, emails, and text messages.
- Schedule and manage appointments using Jane App.
- Process patient payments.
- Direct bill extended health benefits, WCB, MVA, Veterans Affairs, NIHB, and other insurers.
- Register new patients and maintain accurate patient records.
- Assist practitioners and the Office Manager with administrative tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
- Perform light laundry and occasional inventory support.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist in a healthcare clinic.
- Experience using Jane App.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Able to prioritize tasks and remain organized in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
- Strong computer skills.
Strong Assets:
- Experience working in a physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage therapy, or multidisciplinary clinic.
- Experience with direct billing insurance claims.
- Experience with WCB and Alberta Motor Vehicle Accident claims.
- MOA Certificate or Unit Clerk training.
