Educational Assistant

Richmond Christian School is seeking 4 (four) dynamic and collaborative Educational Assistants (Secondary Campus) to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year, starting September 1, 2026.

Organization Overview

Richmond Christian School (RCS) is dedicated to equipping all students to joyfully serve Christ in all aspects of life. RCS is the educational home for more than 1,100 students from Early Learning through Grade 12.The success of RCS is dependent upon a humble reliance on the Lord Jesus Christ and the teamwork of a variety of people who work in harmony to provide the necessary structure and support for a thriving school community.

About the Position

The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong commitment towards Christian Education and an ability to anticipate the needs of a diverse group of learners. The ideal candidate also demonstrates a foundational knowledge in working within the Positive Behaviour Support framework. The Educational Assistant (EA) will work to support students, under the direction of the Inclusive Education Coordinator and in partnership with the classroom teacher, both class wide as well as in small groups or one-to-one. The EA should have strong collaboration and communication skills in order to work best with classroom teachers and should show flexibility to best meet student needs. Specifically for this role, the EA will support students as outlined in student Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and Learning Plans; including both academic and social emotional goals. This role is an on-site position located at our Secondary Campus located at 10260, No 5 Road, Richmond, BC.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

Current certification from an accredited Educational Assistant Program or related certification such as Behaviour Interventionist is preferred.
Evidence of course work or experience with diverse learners.
Previous experience working in a school or similar environment is considered an asset.
Upper Level Math and Science content an asset.
Proficiency in Spanish is considered an asset.

Compensation range:$CAD 24,910.00 – 38,841.00 Please note that the posted salary range is based on the 2025–26 salary grid and will be adjusted for the 2026–27 school year.
