POSITION: PREP (PART-TIME)

We are looking for an experienced part-time prep chef to join our kitchen team. Savio works closely with local farms and uses local ingredients whenever possible, with a seasonal, ever-changing menu. The right candidate must have high cleanliness standards, work well under pressure, and thrive in a team environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Prepare ingredients and assist with mise en place for daily service
Support line cooks and chefs during service by preparing dishes efficiently and accurately
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times
Follow all food safety and hygiene guidelines
Assist with inventory, stock management, and rotation of ingredients
Contribute to a positive, collaborative kitchen culture

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness
Strong understanding of kitchen safety and food hygiene practices
Team-oriented mindset and willingness to take direction from senior kitchen staff
Passion for Italian cuisine and fresh, locally sourced ingredients

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

$19.10-$20/hour

3 shifts per week
