Raise is currently hiring a Scrum Master - Agile Delivery Lead (AI Prototyping) Lead on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is one of North America's leading energy infrastructure companies with operations in natural gas, oil and power industries throughout Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
As the Agile Delivery Lead (AI Prototyping), you will champion agile delivery for a high-performing, rapid-response AI prototyping team. This role requires a unique blend of deep Agile mastery and technical fluency in modern data ecosystems. You will partner with brilliant data scientists, AI engineers, and product owners to accelerate the delivery of generative AI, predictive modeling, and automation initiatives across the organizations footprint.
Responsibilities
- Agile Ceremonies & Cadence: Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, driving adoption of Agile best practices within the AI POD.

Backlog & Delivery Management: Partner with the Product Owner to manage and prioritize AI-focused backlogs. Remove impediments, manage dependencies, and mitigate delivery risks to maintain sprint momentum.

Metrics & Transparency: Track and report Agile metrics such as velocity and sprint progress, providing concise, outcome-focused updates for executive stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement & Coaching: Coach team members on continuous improvement, predictability, and self-organization. Promote regular reflection on processes and opportunities for improvement.

Technical Fluency (AI Context): Maintain a working understanding of AI/GenAI delivery lifecycles, including familiarity with LLMs, multi-agent systems, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases. Engage meaningfully with AI engineers and architects on technical topics and maintain awareness of MLOps/LLMOps and productionization challenges.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Enable effective collaboration across cross-functional teams—product, data engineering, AI/ML development, and platform—ensuring sprint outcomes align with broader product goals.

Autonomy & Accountability: Operates with minimal oversight, driving outcomes independently. Expected to work without considerable direction while mentoring and supervising team members as needed.
Qualifications

8 to 10 years of progressive experience as an Agile Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, or Agile Project Manager leading complex digital initiatives.

Experience navigating technical delivery within complex, regulated corporate environments (such as energy, utilities, or financial sectors) is considered a strong asset.

Proven track record of operating with minimal oversight, independently driving delivery outcomes, and mentoring or supervising technical personnel.

Strong technical acumen regarding the nuances of data-heavy project lifecycles; you understand that AI delivery isn't standard software engineering and requires flexible, iterative planning.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills, with a demonstrated ability to distill complex technical timelines into business-focused value metrics for executive stakeholders.

Exceptional relationship-building skills to influence across matrixed product, data engineering, and enterprise platform teams.

Education and Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology or Business Administration, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Commerce.

Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or PMI-ACP is highly desirable.
