We are looking for a Contents Crew Lead. A permanent full-time employment with a company serving BC communities for over 25 years. The right person for this role understands that behind every damaged home is a family waiting to get their life back. You are experienced, detail-oriented, and self-directed individual who takes ownership of every job from the first walk-through to the final clean.
Our team environment is supportive and cooperative. You are not alone in this role, everyone helps each other. During large-scale events and emergency situations, our team works together to manage demanding workloads and deliver results for our customers.
What We Are Looking For
- Lead and support contents crew members on pack-out, processing (cleaning), and content move-back/reset projects
- Perform detailed structure cleans and post-construction cleans to exact standards
- Clean all types of flooring including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and hand scrubbing
- Process and clean contents in the warehouse using established techniques
- Maintain cleanliness at office facilities and job sites
- Complete daily updates for every active claim in PSA and email
- Document inventory and non-restorable contents using Encircle (training provided)
- Complete and submit all required paperwork accurately and on time
- Follow established cleaning procedures and company safety standards
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Crew Lead experience in the restoration industry (required)
- Previous work experience in a cleaning role is considered an asset
- Ability to work overtime for after-hours emergency work
- Ability to work under pressure in difficult circumstances
- Strong communication skills (spoken and written)
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence with a clean driver’s abstract (required)
- Familiarity with basic technology such as cellphone use, Outlook email, and Encircle
Your First Few Weeks: What Onboarding Looks Like
We have supportive team culture and set every new team member up for success from day one and place strong emphasis on onboarding and training.
Week 1–2: Introduction & Orientation
Meet your team, tour our Delta facility, and become familiar with our systems including PSA, Encircle, and Outlook. You will work alongside crew members on pack-out tasks and warehouse non-restorable listings.
Week 2–3: Hands-On Training
You will shadow experienced crew leads on live jobs to understand our quality standards and begin assisting with documentation and daily claim updates with guidance.
Week 3–5: Building Confidence
We take the time to ensure you understand how the team coordinates and works together so that you feel comfortable and productive. You will begin taking on increasing responsibility in the field while your supervisor provides regular check-ins and feedback.
Ongoing: Mentorship & Growth
Your manager is invested in your long-term development. Regular performance conversations and ongoing training help keep your professional growth on track.
On-Call Rotation – How It Works
Restoration doesn’t stop when the workday ends and neither do we.
Our on-call rotation ensures our customers receive a rapid response during emergencies.
- On-call shifts are shared across the team on a rotating basis
- No single person carries the load
- When on call, you must be reachable by phone and respond within a defined timeframe
- After-hours callouts are compensated with overtime pay
- On-call schedules are provided in advance so you can plan your personal time
- Our dispatch team supports you throughout the process
