Warehouse Technician

Location: 4431 6 St Se, Calgary, AB T2G 4E8

Job Type: Full-time, Seasonal

Job Overview:

The Warehouse Technician is responsible for shipping and receiving goods, inspecting and repairing equipment returning from rental or being prepared for first use, and preparing consumables by mixing chemicals or loading media into vessels. Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills are beneficial for efficiently resolving equipment issues, contributing to operational effectiveness, and fostering teamwork.

Responsibilities:

Inspect, replace, repair (training provided) pumps, hoses, pipes, fittings, etc.
Prepare inspection, maintenance, work reports and record details on forms
Following the process in maintaining an accurate count of all incoming and outgoing equipment, hoses, chemicals and fittings.
Keep the warehouse safe and organized by placing equipment in designated areas, sweeping and cleaning up.
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs., load and unload trucks, keeping an accurate record in provided logs.
Be able to drive the forklift safely.
Check all deliveries against packing slips to determine if there are missing parts/equipment.
Drive into town for local pick-ups as required.
Other duties as assigned

Operate forklifts when needed (with proper certification and under supervision)

Keep up to date on practices, methods, techniques, tools, and equipment used

Other Stuff

Must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record for at least past 3 years
Willingness and available to work overtime, nights and be on call during weekends, particularly during busy season
