Position Title: AZ Truck Driver
Location: Barrie ON
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm (Variable based on business needs)
Salary: $30 - $33 per hour

Position Overview
We are looking for a strong AZ driver to join our team in Barrie. This is not your standard AZ Role. We need someone who is flexible to operate 53' Dry Vans, Box Trucks doing Route based pickups, Roll Off trucks and potentially Vac trucks. This is a Monday to Friday job where you will be home every night. This role will involve the Transportation of Dangerous Goods.
Position Responsibilities
- Operate 53' Dry Van
- Operate and drive box truck
- Operate vac truck
- Operate Roll Off Truck
- Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials to destinations in a safe and efficient way according to the relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
- Perform Digital / Visual pre-trip inspection of vehicle systems and equipment as per MTO schedule 1 such as tires, lights and brakes, etc.
- Plan your trip according to the weather conditions.
- Follow safety procedures for transporting Hazardous materials.
Qualifications
- AZ License
- Clean drivers abstract
- Experience with route based services
- Previous experience with TDG
- Able to work occasional evenings /weekends
