We are seeking an experienced PLC Programmer to join our client s team in the Vancouver, BC region.

Pay - $50/hr

Shift - Day

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and troubleshoot PLC programs using Rockwell / Allen-Bradley platforms (ControlLogix, CompactLogix).
Perform system integration, testing, and commissioning of automated equipment.
Maintain and optimize existing PLC and HMI systems for improved performance and reliability.
Work with electrical and mechanical teams to support automation projects and plant operations.
Diagnose and resolve equipment and process issues in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics and program backups.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and automation upgrades.
Provide on-site and remote technical support as required.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience programming PLCs in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Strong experience with Rockwell Automation / Allen-Bradley PLCs (RSLogix 5000 / Studio 5000).
Experience with HMI/SCADA systems (FactoryTalk View preferred).
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet).
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
