Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our BBQ team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation and ensuring that all food safety standards are met while delivering delicious dishes that exceed our guests' expectations.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Assist in the planning and execution of daily menus
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including cooking stations, utensils, and equipment.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during meal service.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, special events, and operational improvements.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Strong skills in meal preparation and cooking techniques across various cuisines.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly with colleagues.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
