Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team at Black Diamond Dairy Queen. This is a long term, hands on role, ensuring smooth daily operations, leading staff, and delivering excellent customer service. The Assistant Manager will play a key part in upholding our commitment to quality and community engagement.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficiency and high standards, working alongside crew members while also handling management tasks.

Lead and motivate team members to achieve sales and service goals.
Assist in staff training, and development, managing shift operations and workflow.
Assisting with inventory and ordering.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Promote a positive work environment aligned with company values.
Opening and closing the restaurant.
Maintaining equipment and reporting maintenance needs.
Handling cash and till reconciliation, monitoring labour costs.

Qualifications

Proven experience in supervising or managing retail or food service teams.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Experience with POS systems.
Excellent attention to detail.

Prior experience in training & development is advantageous. Willing to train the right candidate. Candidates must be available evenings and weekends. Must be local to Diamond Valley and area.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
