Company Overview:
Grid Link is a growing electrical contractor committed to delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions across commercial, industrial, and/or residential projects. We value accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork, and we are looking for a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our team.

Position Summary:
The Electrical Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical projects by analyzing drawings, specifications, and other documentation. This role plays a critical part in securing new business and ensuring project profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine scope of work
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes
Perform quantity take-offs and pricing
Identify potential risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving measures
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients as needed
Maintain and update cost databases and estimating software
Assist in bid submissions and post-bid follow-ups

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in electrical estimating (or related field)
Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and construction processes
Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Accubid, Bluebeam, or similar)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong time management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Electrical trade certification or degree in electrical engineering/technology
Experience with large-scale commercial or industrial projects
Knowledge of local codes and regulations
