About the role:
The Analyst, HR Reporting & Analytics (12-month Contract) partners with the HR Centers of Expertise (COE), site HR, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights through dashboards and reporting across HR systems. The role supports the advancement of HR Analytics and the implementation and optimization of Oracle Fusion HCM, with a focus on data quality, consistency, and system integrity. Responsibilities also include managing employee data, supporting data flows and reporting requirements (including audit and investor reporting), and providing backup support for HR data maintenance.
Responsibilities:
1. Data Analytics, Dashboards & Reporting

Design and develop useful metrics, predictive models, dashboards, analyses, and reports to support a variety of HR and business initiatives.

Use a variety of established quantitative and qualitative methods (including surveys, focus groups, database mining, and external benchmarking) to gather, analyze, and interpret people data and derive useful information.

Perform complex data manipulation and aggregation of data from multiple HR data sources to provide a holistic view and insights that inform and support business strategy and measure the success of our people programs.

Perform HR people data reporting, such as monthly headcount, turnover, payroll, employee data changes, and bonus data.

Consult key stakeholders to clearly define needs, requirements, propose solutions and estimate timeline from development to deployment.

Ensure dashboards are standardized and integrated, and aim to optimize the automation of these reports.

Code and formulate standard dashboard requirements for the HR Technology team and monitor performance of published dashboard as per established governance.

Assist in preparing analysis and materials for Board/Executive management review meetings and other leadership presentations.
2. HR Data Integrity & Systems Maintenance
-
Maintain accurate, secure, and well-organized HR data and employee records across systems, while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate updates.

Support the implementation and ongoing optimization of Oracle Fusion HCM and advance the HR Technology Roadmap.

Manage data flows between platforms and support data governance, reporting, and system integrations.
-
Partner with the Data Integrity lead to monitor data development, formats, and integrity governance.
-
Participate in the fit-gap analysis between HRIS and the analytics module to ensure all required data is available and transferred correctly.

Troubleshoot system issues and resolve incidents in collaboration with HR and IT partners.
-
Act as a backup for data maintenance colleagues.
3. Audit, Investor & Compliance Reporting
-
Using knowledge of the organization and HRIS data, complete investor report requirements within prescribed guidelines.

Answer internal and external audit questions related to HR data.
-
Standardize reports to provide consistent data within the Company and externally.

For compliance and governance purposes, document reports and definitions.
4. Documentation, Training & User Support
-
Develop and maintain technical documentation, training materials, and end-user support resources.

Train users and stakeholders on how to use and interpret reports and data.

Build strong relationships with colleagues across HR and the broader organization.
5. Special Projects & Continuous Improvement
-
Participate in special projects and initiatives that support the execution of the Human Resources roadmap.

Participate in the selection of data analytics tools.
-
Participate in projects to enhance data maintenance and data analytics modules.
-
Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities, including enhancements to automation, reporting, and user experience.
Qualifications
Key Skills & Knowledge:
Minimum qualifications, formal education, certifications or equivalents:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Social Sciences or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

Relevant certifications (e.g., HR, Oracle HCM) are an asset.
-
Functional English proficiency required; French/English bilingualism is an asset.
Working experience - nature and length:
-
3 to 5 years experience in HR reporting, analytics, HR systems, or related functions.
-
Experience with HRIS, ideally Oracle Fusion HCM / Oracle HCM Cloud.
-
Experience in HR data management (transformation, validation, migration) and reporting (dashboards, visualizations, executive reporting).
-
Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders (HR, Finance, IT) and external vendors.
-
Exposure to system integrations, automations, and testing (UAT, functional) is an asset.

Advanced Excel required; experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, or OTBI preferred.
Additional qualifications - competency requirements:

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.

Knowledge of HR data structures, data governance, and confidentiality requirements.

Experience with SQL, Python, Power Automate, or similar tools is an asset.

Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: C$89,000-$133,500
