Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling complex mechanical components and systems with precision and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical assembly, familiarity with technical schematics, and experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills and contribute to the production of high-quality equipment.

Duties

Assemble mechanical components and systems according to blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, to ensure accurate assembly
Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments to perform precise assembly tasks
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed for material handling
Perform machining, welding, or other fabrication tasks when required for assembly processes
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment throughout the manufacturing process
Inspect assembled parts for quality assurance and adherence to specifications
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and improve assembly processes

Requirements

Proven experience in manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse settings
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and schematics
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, calipers, and machining equipment
Experience with welding and forklift operation is a plus
Knowledge of schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings is essential
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and safety procedures
Prior experience with warehouse operations or inventory management is advantageous

This position requires attention to detail, technical aptitude, and a commitment to quality workmanship. Candidates should be prepared to work in a dynamic environment that values safety, efficiency, and precision.

Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
