Full job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to support the production of high-precision quartz crystals and frequency control products. The Assembler is responsible for assembling, mounting, inspecting, and packaging delicate microelectronic components in accordance with established technical specifications and quality standards.

This position requires excellent manual dexterity, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with small, fragile components in a cleanroom or laboratory manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Assemble and mount quartz crystal, resonator, oscillator, and microelectronic components using specialized tools and equipment.
Handle small and delicate components carefully to prevent damage or contamination.
Measure, calibrate, and adjust quartz resonators, including AT, SC, and IT cut crystals, to meet precise frequency requirements.
Perform lapping, polishing, cleaning, and other crystal-processing activities as required.
Read and follow technical drawings, work instructions, blueprints, and standard operating procedures.
Inspect completed assemblies for dimensional accuracy, workmanship, cleanliness, and compliance with quality standards.
Conduct or assist with frequency testing, calibration, and performance verification.
Record production results, inspection findings, inventory movements, and process data accurately.
Identify damaged, defective, or non-conforming components and report manufacturing or process deviations.
Work with supervisors, quality personnel, and engineering teams to troubleshoot production issues.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation, laboratory, or cleanroom environment.
Follow all safety, quality, contamination-control, and equipment-handling procedures.
Label, package, and prepare completed crystals and oscillators for inventory or shipment.
Monitor materials and supplies and assist with inventory tracking.
Meet established production, quality, and delivery targets.
Perform other related manufacturing and assembly duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in manufacturing, electronics assembly, precision assembly, laboratory production, or material processing is preferred.
Technical aptitude and willingness to learn specialized crystal-processing and frequency-control procedures.
Experience working with small components, hand tools, microscopes, measuring instruments, or precision equipment is an asset.
Basic computer skills for entering production data, maintaining records, and tracking inventory.
Ability to understand and follow written technical instructions and quality procedures.
