Intermediate Procurement Specialist - Contract - 19126
About the Opportunity
Our Public Sector client is seeking three Intermediate Procurement Specialists to support supply-related activities, inventory control, and materiel management in a complex public sector environment.
The successful candidates will support repair and overhaul contract activities, supply account management, stocktaking oversight, inventory investigations, and related transactions using enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP or DRMIS. This role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and hands-on experience working with inventory, supply chain, shipping and receiving, and materiel management processes.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Create or modify RMA/CRPA DRMIS accounts, including reviewing contracts, getting proper approval, completing RMA forms and sending requests to create in the CFSS (DRMIS)
Ensure data integrity of the Special Instructions database and address system issues and required upgrades with the appropriate point of contact
Update and maintain standard operating procedures to align with the latest policies on Materiel Management, including R&O and Stocktaking of GOCCM and Loans
Complete CFSS (DRMIS) transactions compliance review
In consultation with the Materiel Management Team Lead, report on verification of vendor compliance to rules and regulations for the Repair and Overhaul of all client inventory
Input CFSS (DRMIS) transactions for supply account management
Analyze and correct management data to be captured and input into the CFSS (DRMIS) for all client-owned inventory in accordance with applicable materiel management and procurement administration requirements
Provide the Materiel Management Team Lead with timely and accurate information and status updates for audits or stocktaking and onsite verification
Identify potential problems and propose solutions to the Materiel Management Team Lead
Verify that CFSS (DRMIS) processes and procedures for managing Government Owned Contractor Custody Materiel fully comply with all applicable materiel management policies
Perform supply investigations in DRMIS and interact with supply depots, lifecycle materiel managers, supply managers, materiel management technicians, stocktaking, repair and overhaul, and loans sections
Review and analyze DRMIS reports and data for items selected for repair and overhaul by the respective team lead, and provide information regarding past activities and current requirements and the impact on the material repair
Proceed with material investigations and inventory adjustments by preparing auditable inventory adjustment documents for review by the supervisor of the Stocktaking Section
Manage stocktaking oversight for client warehouse and vendors by assisting, auditing and investigating 100% stock takings. Report on discrepant count submissions to reveal possible accounting flaws and input of write-off and non-write-off corrective adjustments
Prepare monthly progress reports outlining significant activities performed, action items, outstanding activities, issues requiring attention, recommendations, days charged, and cumulative days charged
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
Degree, certification or diploma from a recognized Canadian institution
Minimum of thirty-six (36) months of work experience within the last seventy-two (72) months performing investigations of inventory management adjustments using an Enterprise Resource Planning system such as SAP or DRMIS
Minimum of thirty-six (36) months of work experience within the last seventy-two (72) months performing shipping and receiving using an Enterprise Resource Management system such as SAP or DRMIS
Minimum of thirty-six (36) months of work experience within the last seventy-two (72) months in a supply chain management related activity performing stocktaking using an Enterprise Resource Management system such as SAP or DRMIS
Minimum of thirty-six (36) months of work experience within the last seventy-two (72) months performing at least five (5) of the following supply chain related transaction types within the Inventory Management module of an Enterprise Resource Management system such as SAP or DRMIS:
Vetting stock disposition
Reception of material
Discrepancy Reporting - creating and managing discrepancy reports
Creating a Work Order and managing all necessary actions
Issuing and returning spare parts to and from a Work Order
Ordering spares manually
Work completion, including returning asset from Work Order, transferring asset to final location, and reworking of materiel
Creating a shipment
Reviewing Work Order returns
Divestment process
Running reports, including Display Warehouse Stocks of Materiel, Supply Strip Report, Materiel Document List, Shelf-Life List, and List of Work Orders
Assets may include:
Experience in four of the following six material management activities:
Material requirement planning
Inventory management
Supply chain management
Preparing inventory reports
Maintaining stock level
Monitoring annual historical stock usage trends
Experience using SAP to perform the following material management transactions:
ME55: Collective release of Purchase Requisition
ME28: Release purchase order
MMBE: Review of stock levels
ZEPM_ODR: Execute Outstanding Demands report
ME21N: Create Stock Transport Order
