Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Payroll Clerk to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payments to employees while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. Your expertise in payroll management and accounting software will help streamline our payroll operations, support HR functions, and uphold the integrity of our financial records. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a collaborative environment where precision and proactive problem-solving are valued.

Job Duties:

Process employee payroll and maintain accurate payroll records
Perform basic bookkeeping tasks and maintain financial data
Assist with data entry and record keeping using Sage 50 Canada
Answer phone calls and respond to basic office inquiries
Assist with general office administration and daily office tasks
Maintain employee files and payroll documentation
Coordinate with management regarding payroll or record updates
Support other administrative duties as required

Requirements:

Must be fluent in Punjabi/Hindi and English
Basic knowledge or experience in bookkeeping preferred
Experience with Sage 50 Canada is an asset
Strong communication and organizational skills

Other Details:

Full-time position only
Students or part-time applicants will not be considered
Immediate joining required

Pay: $18.00-$21.70 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
