In This Role, You Will:

Work collaboratively with the leadership team to drive operational excellence and support the overall direction of the practice.
Oversee daily operations across all locations through standardized processes and procedures.
Lead operational and staff meetings, creating agendas, action items, and ensuring follow-through.
Process bi-weekly payroll in Dayforce, including timecard approvals, onboarding, and ROE preparation.
Coordinate full-cycle recruitment from job postings through to onboarding.
Lead employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary processes, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations in partnership with team leads.
Develop and maintain HR policies, job descriptions, compensation structures, and training programs.
Assist with budgets, financial reporting, and KPI tracking to improve efficiency and profitability.
Ensure operational compliance across all locations, including vendor contracts, insurance, facility safety, accreditations, WCB claims, and return-to-work planning.
Champion practice growth through community outreach, referral relationships, social media, and event logistics.

What You Bring:

Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills
College or university degree preferred, or equivalent experience in leadership, human resources, or operations management (equine or veterinary industry preferred)
Working knowledge of payroll administration, compliance practices, and platforms (Dayforce preferred).
Knowledge of Sage Intacct and veterinary practice management system (HVMS) preferred.
Extensive knowledge of HR policies, standards, and systems.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between clinic locations.

The Details:

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm with occasional weekend availability.
