Full job description

Job Summary:

Our client in North York is currently seeking an experienced Brake Press / Roll Forming Machine Setup Operator. This role is ideal for a skilled operator with proven hands-on experience setting up brake presses or roll forming machines. The successful candidate will be responsible for machine setup, operation, and ensuring high-quality production in a manufacturing environment.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Set up, adjust, and operate brake press and/or roll forming machines according to production requirements
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and work orders
Select correct tooling, dies, and materials for each job
Perform first-piece and in-process quality checks to ensure specifications are met
Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
Monitor machine performance and report any mechanical issues
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Follow all company safety policies, GMP, and WSIB regulations
Work closely with supervisors and production team to meet deadlines

Requirements & Qualifications:

2 to 3 years experience setting up brake presses or roll forming machines is required
Strong knowledge of machine setup, tooling, and material handling
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments
Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
