Responsibilities:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections according to manufacturer and company standards.
Conduct safety inspections on brakes, steering, suspension, tires, and other major systems to ensure compliance with MTO and DOT regulations.
Complete engine, transmission, differential, and driveline repairs or replacements as required.
Service air brake systems, electrical wiring, lighting systems, and electronic diagnostic components.
Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently, safely, and correctly the first time.

Qualifications:

Valid Ontario 310T Truck and Coach Technician License (mandatory).
Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in heavy truck and trailer maintenance and repair (experience with fleet or dealership environments is an asset).
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, air brakes, electrical systems, and diagnostic software.
Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders accurately.
Proficient with diagnostic tools and computerized maintenance systems.
Must have a valid G driver’s license (AZ or DZ license an asset).
Familiarity with MTO, CVOR, and DOT regulations and inspection standards.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physically capable of performing heavy lifting and working in various environments (shop and yard).
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Commitment to workplace safety and continuous learning.

Pay: $30.00-$55.00 per hour
