What You’ll Do
As Store Manager, you’ll lead with confidence, clarity, and heart — empowering your team to do great work every day.
Leadership & Culture — We Grow People
- Lead, inspire, and develop a team of 10–15 employees
- Champion The WE Store culture and set the tone daily
- Hire, onboard, assess skills, and conduct performance reviews
- Run weekly team meetings and ongoing coaching
- Recognize achievements and celebrate wins
- Handle conflict and crucial conversations with professionalism
- Mentor team members and support their long‑term growth
Sales & Guest Experience Excellence — We Empower People to Do Great Work
- Ensure every guest receives a warm, knowledgeable, hospitality‑driven experience that leads to confident, personalized product recommendations and strong sales outcomes
- Train, coach, and motivate team members to become skilled, consultative salespeople who can uncover guest needs, recommend the right products, and drive basket growth
- Maintain strong store presentation, merchandising, and brand standards that support effective product storytelling
- Support community events, store activations, and local engagement that build brand awareness and drive new guest traffic and repeat business
Operations & Compliance
- Oversee daily operations and AGCO compliance
- Lead advanced procedures, including cash office management
- Manage OCS returns, audits, inventory accuracy, and documentation
- Execute SOPs with consistency and precision
- Collaborate with senior leadership and the steering committee
Inventory & Retail Management
- Oversee receiving, audits, reconciliation, and discrepancies
- Maintain accurate stock levels and compliant storage
- Manage full store inventory lifecycle
Reporting & Strategy
- Provide weekly and monthly reporting to leadership
- Analyze store performance and implement improvements
- Execute company initiatives and support long‑term planning
What You Bring to the Role
- A confident, people‑focused leadership style
- Passion for cannabis culture and the products sold through the OCS
- 2–3 years of retail management experience (cannabis experience a strong asset)
- Skilled in coaching, conflict resolution, and team development
- Strong operational, compliance, and financial accuracy skills
- Organized, proactive, and ready to take ownership
