The Opportunity
As Denison advances the Wheeler River Project, effective change management will play a critical role in project success. Every change to scope, schedule, or budget has the potential to impact outcomes, making disciplined decision-making essential.
As Change Management Coordinator, you will be at the center of that process. Working closely with project leaders, EPCM partners, and project controls teams, you will help evaluate, track, and manage project changes while ensuring decisions are supported by sound analysis and aligned with project objectives.
This role is ideal for someone who understands project controls and enjoys asking questions, challenging assumptions, and finding practical solutions. You’ll help protect project value, support informed decision-making, and contribute to the successful delivery of one of Canada’s most innovative uranium mining projects.

Key Responsibilities
As a Change Management Coordinator, you will work collaboratively and are responsible for:
1. Change Management Administration & Governance
- Review and coordinate EPCM-generated change requests for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with project procedures.
- Maintain the project change log and ensure all changes are appropriately documented, tracked, and approved.
- Ensure alignment of approved changes with Delegation of Authority (DoA) requirements, project governance standards, and budget controls.
- Monitor change request status and ensure timely progression through review and approval processes.
- Support continuous improvement of change management processes and procedures.
2. Cost, Schedule & Scope Impact Assessment
- Coordinate with project controls personnel, estimators, planners, schedulers, and quantity surveyors to validate cost and schedule impacts.
- Assess how proposed scope changes affect project budgets, schedules, and risk profiles.
- Support project leadership by providing clear analysis and recommendations regarding change implications.
- Challenge assumptions and investigate alternatives to ensure changes are necessary, justified, and aligned with project objectives.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to mitigate impacts through scope optimization, deferrals, or alternative solutions.
3. Risk Identification & Escalation
- Identify potential risks and issues associated with change requests and communicate concerns proactively.
- Prioritize change requests based on urgency, business impact, and project risk.
- Escalate critical changes that may affect safety, compliance, schedule, or budget performance.
- Support emergency escalation protocols when immediate action is required.
4. Stakeholder Coordination & Communication
- Serve as a key liaison between project teams, EPCM contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication and alignment among technical, commercial, and project controls teams.
- Build strong working relationships that foster collaboration and accountability across the organization.
- Support project leaders with reporting, presentations, and change management updates.
5. Project Controls & Reporting Support
- Maintain accurate records and reporting related to project changes.
- Ensure approved changes are properly reflected within SAP WBS structures and project control systems.
- Support project forecasting, budget tracking, and reporting activities.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of project controls processes and project execution readiness.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
The Essentials (Hard Skills):
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant project controls, change management, project coordination, or project management experience.
- Experience supporting large-scale EPCM, mining, industrial, infrastructure, or capital projects.
- Strong understanding of change management processes within project environments.
- Working knowledge of project controls principles, including cost management, forecasting, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Experience with SAP and related financial systems.
- Familiarity with Primavera P6, project management platforms, and SharePoint.
- PMP, AACE, Change Management, or related professional certification considered an asset.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
