As we continue to expand and move into larger facilities, we are looking for a knowledgeable and reliable team member who can grow with our company and potentially advance into a Store Manager position.
This is not an entry-level role. We are seeking someone with appliance retail sales experience who can contribute immediately with minimal training and take ownership of their responsibilities.
Position Overview:
The Appliance Sales & Store Associate will be responsible for assisting customers, managing daily store operations, coordinating with internal departments, and helping maintain an organized and efficient showroom environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong sales abilities, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
For the right candidate, this position offers a clear path toward a management role based on performance, leadership, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell appliances and provide professional product recommendations.
- Assist customers in-store, over the phone, and through email inquiries.
- Handle customer concerns, complaints, and service-related issues professionally.
- Create quotes, invoices, and sales orders accurately.
- Follow up with customers and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Coordinate deliveries, installations, exchanges, and service requests.
- Maintain showroom appearance and product displays.
- Manage inventory, pricing updates, and store organization.
- Support daily store operations and administrative tasks.
- Work closely with management to improve store performance and customer satisfaction.
- Take initiative and identify solutions without constant supervision.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous appliance retail sales experience.
- Strong knowledge of major appliance brands, features, and specifications.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and dependable.
- Comfortable using computers, point-of-sale systems, and business software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working for an appliance retailer, distributor, or manufacturer.
- Appliance-related education, certifications, or technical training.
- Experience managing staff, schedules, inventory, or store operations.
- Experience with customer service escalation and conflict resolution.
