Role Description
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Salon Coordinator to join our team in Hamilton, ON. This role supports front desk operations, including welcoming clients, scheduling appointments, answering phones, and assisting with administrative tasks. The Salon Coordinator plays an important role in creating an exceptional guest experience while helping ensure the salon runs smoothly day-to-day and supporting both clients and team members.

Responsibilities

Welcome clients with professionalism, warmth, and exceptional service
Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments using salon software
Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and assist clients with bookings
Support daily salon operations and coordinate with stylists and team members
Maintain client records, inventory organization, and administrative tasks
Open and close the salon as a key holder
Ensure the salon remains clean, organized, and guest-ready
Manage laundry and maintain clean towels, capes, and linens
Assist stylists with shampoos and other support duties as needed
Uphold professional communication standards in all client interactions

Schedule Requirements

· Flexible availability, including daytime, evening, and Saturday shifts, with the ability to work until 9:30 PM as scheduled

Compensation & Benefits

30–40 hours per week
$18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience

Qualifications

Experience in reception, front desk, or customer service roles
Strong phone etiquette and appointment scheduling skills

Salon, spa, or beauty industry experience is an asset
High school diploma or equivalent required
Reliable transportation and flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
