Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within an industrial setting. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, mechanical systems, and industrial maintenance practices to ensure continuous and efficient plant operations. Candidates should possess excellent analysis skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience working with low voltage systems. The position offers an opportunity to work on complex electrical projects, including PLCs, schematics, and CMMS management, contributing significantly to the safety and productivity of our facility.

Duties

Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and machinery in accordance with industry standards and schematics.
Maintain and service programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage electrical components.
Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and equipment history.
Perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment such as HVAC systems, boilers, welding stations, and other manufacturing machinery.
Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
Conduct analysis of electrical problems to determine root causes and implement effective solutions promptly.
Assist with mechanical repairs related to electrical systems when necessary.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all maintenance activities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to electrical systems and plant efficiency.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure optimal customer service and operational support.

Experience

Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or in a similar industrial maintenance role within manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems including low voltage wiring, schematics, and control panels.
Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and CMMS software is highly desirable.
Familiarity with HVAC systems, boilers, welding equipment, and other industrial machinery is a plus.
Mechanical knowledge related to industrial maintenance tasks is preferred.
Ability to read technical schematics and perform troubleshooting based on analysis skills.
Excellent communication skills in English are required for effective collaboration across teams.
Previous experience in manufacturing settings demonstrating safety awareness and adherence to protocols is essential.
