Ellery Manufacturing Ltd. is a CNC Machining and Fabrication company with a proud history dating back to 1978. Our company specializes in the fabrication and machining of large custom parts for use in a variety of industrial sectors, including Oil & Gas, Mining, Renewable Energy, Commercial Marine, Construction and more.

Job Summary
We are seeking experienced CNC Machinists. Priority will be given to Millers but those with a strong overall CNC Machining background are encouraged to apply.

The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

Independently set up and operate CNC machines
Machine medium-to-large sized custom industrial steel components
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Perform first-article and in-process inspections
Adjust feeds, speeds, and offsets to maintain quality
Use overhead cranes to safely move materials and parts
Maintain machines and tooling in good working condition
Collaborate with team members to solve production challenges
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of professional CNC machining experience with an emphasis on Milling
Strong, independent setup and operation skills
A background in machining custom steel parts
Confidence in handling medium to large scale components and materials
The ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Skills in the use of calipers, micrometers, gauges, and indicators
The ability to safely and confidently operate overhead cranes
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Proficiency in English communication (verbal and written)
Red Seal / Journeyman certification (an asset but not required)

Pay Range: Up to $46/hr (Based on experience and skillset)
