Full job description

Join our client's dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Machine Operator and become a vital part of producing high-quality components with precision and efficiency! In this role, you will operate, monitor, and maintain CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and adherence to strict quality standards.

Shift: Monday to Friday Day Shift

Duties

Set up and operate various CNC machines including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC machining centers, ensuring precise execution of manufacturing plans
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to program and adjust machine operations accordingly
Perform routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other gauges to verify dimensional accuracy
Maintain machine tools and tooling, including tooling changes, adjustments, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime
Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to ensure parts meet GD&T specifications and manufacturing standards
Assist with materials handling, packaging finished products, and supporting assembly line operations as needed

Requirements

Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment within a manufacturing or factory setting.
Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files confidently
Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 standards
Ability to use precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers accurately for quality assurance purposes
Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and machine settings; understanding GD&T principles is a plus
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards in a manufacturing environment
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues quickly and effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
