Restaurant Krong Thai à Gatineau est à la recherche d'une serveuse ou d'un serveur d'expérience à temps partiel pour notre équipe de salle.

Nous servons une cuisine thaïe, cambodgienne et vietnamienne dans un environnement de restaurant où le service attentionné, la fiabilité et la communication sont essentiels. Nous cherchons une personne qui a déjà une vraie expérience en service aux tables et qui peut contribuer rapidement à un service professionnel.

Le bilinguisme français/anglais est requis. Le français est nécessaire pour servir notre clientèle locale; l'anglais est aussi nécessaire pour plusieurs clients et situations de service.

Responsabilités

- Accueillir les clients avec professionnalisme et chaleur

- Prendre les commandes avec exactitude

- Connaitre le menu, les niveaux d'épices, les ingrédients et les allergies importantes

- Servir les plats et boissons efficacement

- Répondre aux questions des clients et faire des recommandations

- Garder les tables, la salle et les stations de service propres et organisées

- Communiquer clairement avec la cuisine et l'équipe de salle

- Gérer les périodes achalandées avec calme et efficacité

- Encaisser les paiements et utiliser le système POS selon les procédures

Qualifications requises

- Minimum 2 ans d'expérience en service ou expérience équivalente en restaurant

- À l'aise avec le service aux tables dans un environnement achalandé

- Français et anglais requis pour le service client

- Fiable, ponctuel et professionnel

- Bonne présentation et bonnes aptitudes de communication

- Capacité à travailler en équipe

- Disponibilité pour les quarts de souper en semaine et la fin de semaine

- Expérience avec Snappy POS (gosnappy.io) ou un autre système POS

- Expérience dans un restaurant asiatique, thaï, vietnamien ou à service rapide en salle

Job Description - English

Restaurant Krong Thai in Gatineau is hiring one experienced part-time front-of-house server/waitress for our dining room team.

We serve Thai, Cambodian, and Vietnamese cuisine in a restaurant environment where attentive service, reliability, and clear communication matter. We are looking for someone with real table-service experience who can contribute quickly to a professional guest experience.

French/English bilingual ability is required. French is needed for local guest service; English is also needed with many guests and service situations.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests warmly and professionally

- Take orders accurately

- Learn the menu, spice levels, ingredients, and key allergy information

- Serve food and drinks efficiently

- Answer guest questions and make recommendations

- Keep tables, the dining room, and service stations clean and organized

- Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house team members

- Handle busy service periods calmly and efficiently

- Process payments and use the POS system according to procedure

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of food service or equivalent restaurant serving experience

- Comfortable with table service in a busy restaurant environment

- French and English required for guest service

- Reliable, punctual, and professional

- Strong presentation and communication skills

- Able to work well as part of a team

- Available for dinner shifts on weekdays and weekends

Assets
